The cockpit — overview

The cockpit is the instance’s landing screen: fleet status, maintenance workload and airworthiness compliance at a glance. Every tile is clickable and leads to the matching detail screen.

Fleet

The four top counters total the instance’s aircraft by status: in service, in maintenance, in storage. The total also includes aircraft being enrolled and retired ones — per-aircraft detail lives on the Fleet page.

Maintenance due limits

This section aggregates scheduled maintenance tasks (inspections, potentials, coming from maintenance plans) across the active fleet:

• Overdue — tasks past their due limit. This is the counter to watch: it should trend to zero.
• Due soon — tasks entering their alert window.
• Aircraft overdue — number of aircraft carrying at least one overdue task.
• Tracked due limits — total tasks tracked across the active fleet.

Retired aircraft are excluded from these counters: their due limits remain visible on their record, but they are no longer a workload. Per-aircraft and per-task detail lives on the Potentials page.

Airworthiness compliance

This section tracks airworthiness documents (airworthiness directives, service bulletins, modifications, supplementary directives) crossed with each affected aircraft:

• To perform — applicable requirements not yet closed.
• Overdue — requirements whose compliance deadline has passed. A document carrying a flight prohibition is always counted here, whatever its deadline.
• Mandatory to perform — subset of open requirements whose application is mandatory.
• Compliant — closed requirements.

These counters are independent from maintenance due limits: a late inspection is not an airworthiness non-compliance, and vice versa. Detail lives on the compliance dashboard.

Priority actions

The list below the counters surfaces airworthiness requirements needing immediate attention (overdue, flight prohibitions, near deadlines), with the document and aircraft concerned.
